The Temp1 sensor is found via ACPI according to Speedfan. The computer decided to heat up again shortly after that post (Temp1 is now 55C).

The battery's cold. However, another module (the internal wireless adapter if I'm reading the smudged sticker correctly) is noticeably warmer than the rest of the computer's underside. Normally, this area becomes too hot to touch when Temp1 jumps; 10C must make a real difference.
