I bought it as we went to the shelter. (Wendy's was still open, oddly enough.) Charley was a fast-moving storm, so we knew we would probably only be in the shelter for a day.

Once they gave the all-clear, we went back to survey the damage. (No damage.) I brought the leftovers and took a nap. The next morning, Dad announced he had found a hotel room with power, so we went. I left the leftovers behind, sitting on the counter. (The fridge was still cool, but not cold, at this point.)

When we returned a week later, the burger had degenerated into some sort of primordial ooze... and all of the candles in the house had doubled over from the heat.
