UFicle: Electricity question by Master_Rahl222007-10-22 14:56:25
  depends. by unjust 2007-10-22 15:10:27
as a simple rule of thumb, if it has a remote, moves or has an led on it, it draws. if not, no.

lamps, blenders, etc, do not, printers, tv's, automatic timers do.

long story short, put your entertainment system on a surge strip and turn the strip off when not in use, and live with the 12:00 vrc blink.

there are now "green" switches that'll kill all non-essnetial (fridge, etc) circuits when your'e not home.
