Most stuff that I've put into yard sales has wound up in the trash the next day, or else I've found a use for it. Don't know about thrift stores, but mainly what people seem to buy there is clothing - they do throw a fair bit of other stuff out. CraigsList? *If* people know about it, and have access to it, they might be able to sell something there - I've never had any success.

I suppose in general I don't share your optimism about the seller's ability (especially in relatively impoverished areas) to find a buyer; and one willing to buy, at that. I definitely don't share that optimism.

                                It's not optimism. by subbywan2007-10-22 12:44:50
