Wildfires burning in Santiago Canyon burned to within 4 miles of my house last nite. I grabbed the cats, computers, weapons and ammo, and bugged out to my SO's place. Once there, I was a nervous wreck. So much so that my SO and SD both had to tell me to suck it up. Hey, I'm sorry if the prospect of having 90% of everything I own in the world burned to a crisp gives me stress. Sue me.
