My best friend was for some time by DesertRat66 2007-10-22 11:23:27
While on welfare he moved from a Mobile Home to a House (bought not rented), 'purchased' several classic automobiles, got a Bachelors Degree, and never did he or his family go hungry once.

Sure he wanted off, but only on his own terms. He could have been off in three months and making good money, but he didn't want to do the job that was available to him even with the $18hr and full benefits. (This was in the late 80s to early 90s BTW)
