I just had a great idea... by jeff_uk 2007-10-22 07:42:48
send an email around every week or so saying that '$RandomMadeUpServerOrSoftwareName' is going offline for routing maintenance, at some ungodly hour , (Like 11PM, or 9:15AM) so that people think we're actually doing something :D

This idea was inspired by me having to reboot a server that has software on that we're not entirely sure if anyone is using... so I had to send an email to ALL ... knowing that it will probably affect at most 1 or 2 people :)
