Almighty UFicle, help on WIDTH of UF board by SciSSorS 2007-10-22 07:06:24
While using FireFox (it updated itself lately in fast succession, today reads 2.0.0.8) the UF board seems very "borken".
I had this problem before, and I thought I had "tweaked it into oblivion" (windows box, doesn't have a dev/null ) by diabling extensions.
But the problem promptly returned, without /me knowing where, how, why.

The first manifestation hat "something was wrong" ws the total dissapearing of the scrollbars.
The orizontal scroll SHOULD not be necessary, as text in a browser "should" wrap to make next line continuations, but it doesn't do that very well.
Err: started doing it the wrong way, with parts of text "hiding" under the right side of the monitor, but NOT showing the horizontal scrollbar.

The vertical scroll had disappeared as well, but the mousewheel-scrolling works.

Well, I've been browsing around, and found the "Stylish" extension, which offered me a "better scroll bars" promise.
That SEEMED to work: on opening UF board, the scrollbar reappeared. But it hid itself after two seconds: not enough to be "usable".

Do other UFies have this problem too ?

Is this problem related with gmail NOT alligning its "labels" when I try to use them as "folders4gmail" suggests ?
For that one as well, I already de-installed almost ALL extensions, in vain, so I re-enabled what I "use".

Flashblock
AdBlockPlus (wth @@userfriendly.org" of course )
gMailManager, gMailSpace, FEBE/CLEO , bettergmail, radialcontext (seems to be lighter than easygestures)

Anything "general" that I should do ?
Proof-readng the preview: to be able to read the posting, I had to put in about eleven "hard returns", or the text would disappear again "behind the right border", before wrapping ... hides quite some text between the last readable part and the start of next line.
