and hopefully the eyes of the Lord. Every human is deserving of a minimum recognition of dignity and worth (application of that understanding is a different debate).
That is NOT to say, though, that all *ideologies* are equal. The ideologies (or elements thereof) that do not treat people as equals, that systematically subjugate a large demographic of the population, are worth fighting against, in my opinion. Because in order to stand by the concept of treating people as equals, you can't have tolerance for systems that don't. |
