Picture Kiosk? by MrTrick 2007-10-08 19:19:20
My brother's wedding is coming up soon... One thing I want to do for him is set up shop next to the guestbook with my laptop and a multi-card reader - reason being that most people have digital cameras, and if people upload their photos when they sign the guestbook it'd be a simple way to collate everyone's photos together.

I'm wondering if there's a simple application around that'll automatically slurp up all the photos from an inserted flash card or USB stick, place in a created subfolder, and maybe prompt for a name or some description, then unmount that volume. Ideally close to idiot-proof, so it can be set up like a kiosk.
