Religion is your choice. Not the choice of what rituals to follow, or to believe in the same things as your SO.
It is that easy.
Religion is your belief, your ethics, your morals, your way of life. Nobody else's.
Stand up for yourself, and you will respected, follow the herd, and end up in the slaughterhouse.
You won't be respected as somebody who became a Jew because otherwise it's bad for your rep. People, especially those who'd have that belief against you, won't cut you any slack in this area. They'll say you are paying lipservice to be accepted.
don't believe in something, because it is hip, or somebody else does is. End of story. |
