collective knowledge by joresgump 2007-10-08 12:24:03
great ideas comes from the thinking of many, many, many men and women. They're shortcuts. They shouldn't be accepted as true, but they help to advance.

The distincion between a reason and an excuse is that one is that in one you think you're right and the other you think you're wrong, but you do it anyway.

And we're trying to be better persons using the ideas. An increasing knowledge help us to face other problems that were not adressed before 'cause there were bigger problems at hand. Example: do you discuss slavery? That's pretty much solved. Now we're discussing imprisonment.
