Weird behavior in open office.org by joecrouse2007-10-08 10:56:21
A few things spring to mind. by FNORDer 2007-10-08 11:15:06
But they're just common problems I've run across myself.

Text headings: Copying text out of web documents can cause them to be pasted into the document with an odd formatting which causes spacing problems. Check the heading dropdown next to the font box.

Empty Objects: Copying text out of web documents, especially tables, can cause odd problems with formatting when pasting into documents. Cut the text of the document out one character either side of the problem area then paste it into a new document.

Failing that it may be something common but obscure caused by knocking the wrong key/clicking the wrong toolbar button etc. Also if it's a document you've saved in word 2007 or MS works recently that can cause problems. OOo takes time to work up their interoperability with each new version of office.
