Far Cry, HL2, Doom3, Stalker, Deus Ex 2, Max Payne 2, Unreal - they are all far superior to the latest stuff being forced onto us.
I mean Halo 3? So awesome you have to install Vista and spend $$$$ on new hardware and an uber video card just to play the game? It's not that good.
Even if Halo3 played fine on older hardware under W2K, I still wouldn't like it - it reminds me of some of the worst FPS I have played, like Fire Warrior and the P2P Unreal & Quake games.
The best P2P I ever played was Half Life. It STILL rocks, even though the servers are nearly empty. |
