Just spent the evening with my 3 year old niece and brand new nephew. My sister is having a tough time on what was supposed to be an enjoyable family weekend. She is dealing with both kids by herself, entertaining all the family from out of town, while dealing with a husband in the hospital. They think he can go home tomorrow but the doctors still don't know what the problem really was. *sigh*
We're trying to be as helpful as possible, but sometimes the kids just want mommy.
Considering I got less then 5 hours of sleep last night, I'm organizing a dance party for tomorrow that I won't even be able to attend, and I was traveling most of the day today, I think I was remarkably patient with the kids... |
