I'm translating the attitude that I see in some posts. An attitude that says that she is stupid, or unreasonable, or ...

She is only 16, for heaven's sake! Give some leeway, show some understanding. Compassion. There is no reason to expect her to behave like an adult, and condemn her for not being more mature.
