Here is a question by Fandango 2007-10-05 14:44:43
I have an MS optical corded mouse here.
I am viewing UF using Firefox.

Now when I use the scroll wheel(The new kind without clicks) the page goes up and down.As it should.
But often it will lag. As in I scroll the wheel and it moves a tiny bit and freezes. Then jumps the rest of the way after perhaps a second or two.
This does not happen ever in IE.
It does not happen on anything but Firefox.
I tried it with the task manager open (WinXP) and Firefox shows 100% CPU usage.
Yet when I use the scrollbar on the right and eliminate the mouse it does not happen.
So it isn't the mouse or Firefox on their own. Just the 2 in combination.
Anybody got an idea WTH is going on?
