Ok, and if she refused to tell him WHERE she lived by SnArL 2007-10-05 14:44:43
then what?

Breaking curfew is an ARRESTABLE OFFENSE. Period. End of story. She was out after curfew and thus was breaking the law. He arrested her for it.

That aside, he acted appropriately. Do you know ANYTHING about combat physics? How little force it takes to break the bones of someone of her build? If he held her wrist and she wrenched away sharply, her arm would snap like a twig. If he had used his weight advantage she would have been injured instead of just in pain. Having your arm twisted hurts, yes, but not NEARLY as much as having it broken because someone much bigger than you applied their weight to restrain you.

The fact remains: she was acting like a dumba3; throwing a temper tantrum; resisting arrest; AND she assaulted a police officer. Instead of leaning on her and breaking bones when she resisted, he twisted her arm. Instead of beating the stupid out of her when she ASSAULTED him, he sprayed her with pepper spray.

The police DO NOT fool around. Now, if he'd been a Texas State Trooper, she'd have been in the hospital. She really should be grateful.
