Since Stelmach has take over as the new by Peace_man 2007-10-05 14:23:38
Premier of Alberta there have been some changes.

One of them is this report on oil revenues for the province. It seems that Alberta is missing out on some major potential revenue.

It is very telling that some energy sector investment companies have tried to oppose Stelmach acting on the recommendation by publicly warning Albertans that asking for more from the oil companies will have dire consequences. Some have even taken out ads. I think it simply means that Stelmach is not in the pocket of the oil business - unlike his three immediate predecessors.
