If he wins, his race will have an effect on his presidency. Why? Because people will see him differently. People will have different expectations, different demands and different prejudices. In an ideal world, nobody would care about his race; in that case, you wouldn't have to, either. Unfortunately, in real life, people are treated differently based on their race. You should take this into account when trying to figure out how successful a president will be.
