By 'we' I mean the Personal Computer using public. M$ is currently paying out a bit of line to entice use of IE7. Which use will later on be parlayed into a stick to force adoption of Vista, or Office, or X-Box for all I know; some Microsoft product anyways.

It's a sport they are very good at. The question becomes: Will the fish eventually escape?
