Thanx so much for the vibes. It's only his second interstate drive (the first being the trip there), so he's not very used to prolonged drives, thus the concern. Yes, he is taking it in two days. That breaks down to 2 14hour days. And I liked the idea of the dog, as he has to stop every 3-4 hours for the dog to do his business. It also gives him a prime opportunity to call worried mom (oh, all right, and dad).
