how much you use it ALONG WITH the original quality of the item than anything else. I have a Sony 707 digital camera from 2002 and a Sony 5 disk DVD changer from 2002 that are still going. I have done 3 Weddings with that camera and a bunch of functions for other people and only had one issue where the front lens mount came lose. I took it apart and screwed it back in and am still going.
