That If I were thinking of starting a new company (or opening a branch office) in the UK, this law would be a show stopper.
It is Very easy to abuse such a law, and will undoubtedly result in a vast increase in espionage (Realize that many British MP's have strong ties to corporations, and have no morals over manipulating the system for "friends").
