I like Sony TV products too :)

My sister just bought a Samsung DPL and I have to say I quite like it over the LCD's and other DLP's she and I looked at.

I was leaning towards a Toshiba or Sony myself (you have seen my Wega 36" TV!) but that DLP pretty much Blew em all away.
The Sony DLP had a little better brightness but the Samsung had a better black and white contrast. You would be amazed at how different the picture is when a black is a TRUE black and the white is a TRUE white as opposed to graphite black or off white.

Take a look and compare them (DLP and LCD) and see what you think. The LCD's to me just aren't *quite* there yet on fast motion afterimages and the quality of the blacks and whites. They are VERY close though!! I expect them to have that solved in the next year or so...
