Eventually, we'll hit another revolution point. We're less than 100 years from that now. At that point, the US will either stay as it is, geographically, but the whole political system will be scrapped (including the Constitution), which will be some sort of a civil war, or the US will break up geographically into at least 2, probably 3 - 5 different parts, and Washington will use force to keep those states from breaking away and there will be a civil war.
Either way, we'll have a revolution. Technically, it doesn't HAVE to be a violent one, but it will be, because of the 2nd, and the folk who follow it religiously.
