That's what the C expert asked me when I came to him with a program that was crashing my workstation (and killing everyone's productivity, since the workstation had a component of the circuit design software running on it).

My response was "My what?"

yes, I was overwriting the OS with my silly little utility. (And yes, it was my first foray into C programming)
