that I bought for eighty bucks in 1998 to install my first ATX board into.. a PPRO 166/512K. I ran that board until three years ago (the last several years saw a marked decline in my computer time) but at this point, I think the metal and plastic bits of the case itself, along with most switches and LEDs, are the only original bits.

The best part of it all?? The same case still goes for ~65 buxx0rs with a modern adequate power supply (about twice the output of the original one) Cases can be hardware whose value does not depreciate with time! My only problem with the case is less than stellar ventilation.. but I *could* throw a spare PII pair of fans on some air holes on the back if I really wanted to. I am no speed demon, though, and have no temperature problems as is. I *do* need a new mobo though.. I just dont want to get a new chip and RAM, too. Being broke sucks.

I also have an old DEC out back that is eventually going to be modded into a standard ATX case, if I ever have a computer I need to build into it.

What I want now is a pizza box case, to build a PC to go in my 280Z.. My brother got me a flat panel and a keyboard/trackball combination from an old Dell Rackmount at the school board building where he works, and all I need is a slim line PC to plug them into and I am SET.
