... I'm not sure if "reconcile" actually applies here - maybe I mean the same when speaking of "resolving". Sorry, I'm not at native speaker level yet with English.
As for resolving the issues, for me it's a matter of forgiving, letting go, and all that through analyzing and thus understanding.
And according to my experience I can analyze and understand (almost?) anything. I can't explain it, it just happens.
Still, understanding anything and producing world peace seem to be two different things. :-/
