I swear the oil filter is above the axle. You need to be a contortionist to reach it. Not something I can easily do with it up on ramps. I did that exactly once, when the car was still fairly new (almost 10 years ago). Now, it gets it's oil changed by either my regular mechanic or Jiffy Lube.
