here's a tip . . .
Find some things that you enjoy doing, even if it's just one or two things. When you're feeling depressed, do one of those things. I used to do crossword puzzles, go to movies, go out to dinner, go for a walk, read, listen to some good music, things like that.
If you're artistically inclined, then draw or write or paint or compose. The important thing is to occupy your mind so it has something else to think of, something else to focus on besides depression. It's important that it's something you enjoy doing so you get some sense of fulfillment, satisfaction or entertainment from it. |
