It will somewhat depend on their ages as to how well they get on. I've got two, but we got them both when they were kittens and only a month or two apart. They're very close in age and get on very well. OTOH, my mum also has two, but the second was acquired after the first was about 2 years old. They tolerate each other but are much more independant.
