That requires money to buy AND money to play.
I can handle one or the other, but not both.
If I've paid to take the game home, then I want to be able to play it any time, any where, in what-ever fashion I so desire.
(Think Total Annihilation, Diablo, Baldur's Gate, Heroes of Might & Magic, etc)
If I have to pay to play it online, then the game itself needs to be free.
(The game files, client, or web interface as a free download, with a X-day trial to see if you like the game, & $x per month after that to continue playing.)
Otherwise, you're bending me over a table to take it home, & raping my wallet every time I want to play it?
No thanks.
Even if I *weren't* poor, that strikes me as exceedingly greedy & a good way to alienate a LOT of people that might enjoy paying the thing, but can't afford to decide between playing your game, or buying food for the month.
