is never worth the risk of a no-knock warrant. A no-knock greatly increases the risk to both the suspects and the officers involved. They make a situation automatically confrontational and if they hit the wrong address they are asking for a needless loss of life when a homeowner defends him or herself.

IMO, the only time that they are justified is of you KNOW that the perps will fight or in a hostage situation.
