have - a conventional fixed rate has got to cost them around 3K/month with the escrow payments (taxes and such), because they are borrowing about the same amount of money I had to borrow to get the place I'm in now. I really didn't like this deal, but it's the only one I had. They only have 1500 dollars "at risk" in their deposit. (I had 10K in MINE when I bought this place).
