IP address through yahoo mail account : by Klaranth 2007-08-13 10:25:47
A fellow Freecycle moderator asked the following question in the Moderator's Group:

Is there a way to find a users individual IP address in their email header
when they send messages to the yahoogroup?

We have a couple of problem people that if we could ID their IP address we
would be able to check and refuse their membership if they tried to sign
back up after we removed them.

Right now, when looking at messages from people using a yahoo mail account
we see the yahoo IP and usually the IP of what looks like the mailserver of
their ISP, not their personal IP from their connection. Most of the people
in question are on broadband so their IP is theirs for a long period of
time.

Anyone got a solution for them?

Thanks
