I was sitting in a restaurant drinking coffee with some friends. The coffee didn't taste very strong, but it must have had a fair bit of caffeine in it - after about seven or eight cups I suddenly felt a bit ill, cold sweat, racing heart, funny lightheaded feeling.

I stopped drinking, and was OK again after less than half an hour. But it was a warning all right. That bit about laughing or crying didn't happen to me - I have to wonder if there was something 'extra' in her coffee? Or maybe it just hit her differently.
