what is 'slipstreamed' xp? by tyebald2007-08-13 07:23:07
Slipstreaming is when you take an older copy by maceogan 2007-08-13 07:28:25
of say XP or 2000 and create a new install disk that already has the service packs and patches installed. So that when it installs it will be there already. There are numerous pages on the net that tell you how you can do this.

It is useful for supporting features (such as larger HDs) that were not suported under the original version of the OS.

And SWMBO is She Who Must Be Obeyed. ;-)
