Did you open your box? If so, did you actually hook up the power / data o fthe second disk again? Does it show up in the hardware list? Would you be able to run a Live CD of Knoppix or such to see if it mounts in a different operating system? What happens if you hang the disk in another machine? What brand and type of disk is it? What type of port? With these questions we might have a better idea of how to help you.. ;-)
