to think their way through, not just roll their way through. Of course, by their nature, those campaigns are also much more difficult to design.

<sarcasm>I especially like the dungeons where various and sundry creatures are all living down there quite happily together until adventurers come wandering through, at which point they immediately become vicious and hostile, but only toward the adventurers.</sarcasm>

"You're attacked by a large blob of green slime!"

Then after that's dead, "You're attacked by a party of druegar! Even though they've been down here all this time, the green slime never bothered with them."
