Even if he had said "I don't believe . . . I don't see anything that makes God necessary" and left at that, I'd still have respected him. It's just the hostility I'm getting sick of. And yes, I know it goes both ways, and I'm sick of it on both ends. I don't like the attitudes of extremist Christians anymore than any of you do. I think the behaviors and attitudes of people like Pat Robertson are shameful.
