When my GF and I where still together we used other means of protection, or rather birth control, protection wasn't really an issue. I'm currently not seeking a new relationship, I'd probably even turn down the opportunity if it presented itself, but I imagine if somehow I did fall head over heels for someone, it'd be soon enough to start worrying about it then.
To be honest I'm having a hard time getting my head around the "just in case" mentality of carrying a condom but not intending or expecting to have sex. Seems rather akin to buying everything in duplicate/triplicate/multiples just in case it breaks down or runs out. I suppose if you're someone who's not averse to the idea of one night stands, it might be useful, but other than that I don't see the point really. |
