It's equally true that people are not going to have sex, but we're not interested in them at the moment.) So, being a responsible organiser who would hate to see people leave with an avoidable STD, you make sure that people can get condoms if they need them. It's a service, just like the (rest of the) goodie-bag itself. The con's theme has nothing to do with it.
(Well, it's somewhat audience-dependent: e.g. attendants of a business conference might view this as indiscreet, in which case you trust them rather than antagonise them. But really, that's a function of the audience's prudity, not of the theme.) |
