Personally, I don't think it violates the FYOSR. Anyone who understands the hidden meaning is likely mature enough to be able to handle "adult" topics. I'm not saying you're immature, mind you, simply expounding on the rules, which state:
"The idea here is not to be making sexual remarks, but to be insinuating in such a fashion that it can be taken two ways, only ONE of which is sexual."
Under this section of the rules, innuendo is perfectly acceptable.
Under Illiad's recent (I think it was last year) addendum to the rules, there was something that said, "Do not intentionally offend OR BE EASILY OFFENDED." I can't locate it in the FAQ, but I DO remember reading it.
Based on this, I don't feel that I've done anything wrong. You are, however, more than welcome to put in a TLP asking for an official ruling. I will accept whatever the mods say. |
