so pointing device drivers are the next logical place to act upon.

THREE reinstalls in FIVE days? All for this scrolling behavior??? How does that saying go, something about "if you keep doing the same thing (or sequence of steps), you'll keep getting the same results"?

Is that a laptop, as someone else asked? Laptops and their various odd pointing gizmos can be pretty weird (sorry for the technical lingo...;-) sometimes...
