Speaking about laws before congress by voxwoman 2007-08-08 11:50:16
My brother recently testified to a House Subcommittee about binding arbitration - and how it basically screws the consumer (because the arbitrators are frequently puppets of the company who is on the other side of the arbitration). As part of his testimony, he wrote a brief that included an "example" law. His example was used in the bill subsequently submitted before Congress (that has a snowball's chance in h4 of passing, according to his contacts).

But both he and I think it's really cool that something he wrote is taken that seriously. (and I'm ridiculously proud of him).
