In any currency. Now, when there is a situation like we are out for lunch or a coffee, and the situation crops up that he hasn't got any money on him due to some circumstances, then I would probably OFFER about $/€ 10.00 depending on which friend exactly, and wouldn't be angry when it is accepted without the offer of paying it back. But I would also not deny the offer of getting it paid back. ;-)
