I've had chronic GI problems for years now (over a decade, and I'm 31). It seems to run in the family -- father has something similar as did his mother (my grandmother). Darndest thing is that doctors can't find anything wrong (after CTs, ultrasounds, endoscopies, etc over the years). Good news is that we're pretty long lived, so whatever this is apparently isn't life-threatening. The bad news is...it can still get pretty miserable.
