Heck I used to work for one. Until I figured out they were shady and quit that job for a more respectable one at Taco Bell. There are a lot of resources out there that one should read before they take on debt as massive as a home loan. In spite of my experience in the financial industry (or maybe because of it) I got this book and a few others and read them thoroughly before I bought a home. About the only lament I have about the current situation is that Home Economics and Personal Finance are no longer taught in our public schools.
