1) At least this time it wasnt the Dutch

2) Often enough, when we think some species is extinct, they pop up later in time, somewhere else. Most of the times in places we never thought them to be able to live.

3) So many species go 'extinct' while it is just nature's way of development. And what humans do, is only nudge them in the evolutionary way of extinction.
